“Actually, the bulk of stuff that happens [at Parliament House], and happens in the public service, …are done by people who are working hard. Getting stuff done. Getting legislation drafted, you know? Changing things for the better, overall, hopefully. And trying to address the things that are real challenges in. And I think that's probably my sense, you know? Actually, it's probably more good things going on than not.”

There's a few things I've noticed in the year I've been with the Minister’s Office that I think can really work.
So one is really around ‘aligning values’…’
I first thought that this was going to be a video I made about making coffee... maybe the process that I go through...

I think it's more about bringing your attention to the present moment. Maybe it's about finding artistry in the present moment...

A lot of people don’t know how to behave in workshops. They need to be instructed, or encouraged. ‘this is how you share, how you work together…’. Some people don’t know how to engage in the big group.
Facilitators add value Day in, Day out. It is ‘stepping into the fire’ and there is just this sense of courage and internal belief that we're doing it right. But if you've got more meetings, more groups, you should be looking at having more facilitators… bringing them part-time or bringing them on full-time.
